Getting From the Airport to Your Hotel

Getting to your hotel from one of the local airports is easy via airport shuttles or taxi services.

Getting to the Hotel from Reagan National Airport (DCA)

Rental Cars
There are several companies to choose from when renting a car at Reagan National Airport. Car rental counters are located on the first floor in Parking Garage A. Passengers can proceed to the shuttle pick up area located outside the baggage claim area of each terminal. View rental car companies and find their contact information on the airport website.

Taxi Cabs
Taxi cabs are dispatched from convenient locations on the arrivals curb just outside the baggage claim areas of each terminal. Uniformed taxi cab dispatchers are stationed at each taxi cab dispatch area to assist passengers with selecting a taxi cab based on destinations in Washington, DC.  Visit the airport website for more information on their taxi cab services.

Taxi cab fare to the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel is estimated at $22 minimum one way. 

Shared Ride Vans

Metrorail
The Washington, DC Metrorail system has an elevated Metrorail station connected to the concourse level of terminals B and C at Reagan National Airport. Metrorail farecards may be purchased at machines located at all entrances to the airport Metrorail station. The station is also fully accessible via elevators.

Getting to the Metrorail station from the terminals:

  • Terminal B and C: Use either of two enclosed pedestrian bridges on the concourse level which connect directly to the station.
  • Terminal A: Exit the terminal to the streetside curb, and board any “Airport Shuttle” bus. At the stops for Terminal B/C or Parking Garages B and C you may access an enclosed bridge which connects to the Metrorail station.

Getting to the hotel from Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Rental Cars
There are several companies to choose from when renting a car at Dulles International Airport. View rental car companies and find their contact information on the airport website.

Taxi Cabs
Washington Flyer Taxi provides the taxi service at Washington Dulles International Airport. Follow the signs for ground transportation or taxi to the lower level of the main terminal where a customer service representative will be available.  Visit the Washington Flyer Taxi website for more information.

Taxi cab fare to the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel is estimated at $72 minimum one way.

City Bus/Metrorail
Dulles International Airport Silver Line Express provides non-stop service between Washington Dulles International Airport and the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station for $5. From the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station, you can board Metro’s Silver Line and connect to any destination in the Metrorail system.

Tickets for the Dulles International Airport Silver Line Express can be purchased at the ticket counter located inside the vestibule of door 4 on the arrivals level of the main terminal. Cash, traveler’s checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Card are accepted. Passengers boarding at Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station can purchase their Silver Line Express fare when they arrive at Washington Dulles International Airport. Metrorail farecards can be purchased inside the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station.

Getting to the Hotel from Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI)

Rental Cars
There are several companies to choose from when renting a car at BWI Airport. Car rental counters are located off site in a separate building. Passengers can proceed to the shuttle pick up area located outside the baggage claim area of each terminal. View rental car companies and find their contact information on the airport website.

Taxi Cabs

Amtrak
Amtrak has a stop at BWI airport with service to Washington D.C.'s Union Station. The length of the trip ranges from 27-37 minutes, and one-way tickets begin at $11, with advanced reservations. There is a complimentary shuttle service from the BWI baggage claim to the BWI Amtrak station. Union Station is about a 4 mile Taxi/Uber/Lyft ride from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.  Click here to make a reservation.
