Each spring, the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) holds a four-day conference devoted to planned programs of scholarly papers, roundtable discussions, workshops, and panel sessions on a wide range of issues in research and teaching, and on Asian affairs in general.

  The AAS is no longer automatically mailing the Conference Program Book to conference attendees in advance of the conference start date. Printed Conference Programs will be distributed ON-SITE in Toronto. Please note: registered attendees receive one complimentary copy of the Program. If your Program is mailed to you, please be sure to bring it with you to Toronto.

• CALL FOR PAPERS IS NOW CLOSED! The submission deadline was August 4, 2011. We are no longer accepting proposals. The Call for Papers for our 2013 conference will be available in May 2012.

The AAS Program Committee met in September 2011 to make final selections for the 2012 Conference Program and notifications have been sent to participants.
