This week, AAS and @EWCinWashington co-hosted a workshop in Washington, DC, “The Year of Choosing Dangerously.” Young scholars gathered to discuss current concerns and future possibilities as citizens in numerous countries on both sides of the Pacific Ocean head to the polls.
I only just came across this wonderful pedagogical essay on "Teaching Taiwan" from Lauren Collins published in @AASAsianStudies Education about Asia. Collins shares how she led a study abroad program to Taiwan in 2023 and interprets historical memory.
